PLC Multipoint Inc. has launched the Tandem Lighting Control Network.
PLC Multipoint, headquartered in Everett, Wash. and celebrating its 25th anniversary, introduced a stand-alone control system called Bantam back in 2012. The Tandem Lighting Control Network expands that basic lighting control platform for larger systems with application for commercial, industrial, office and retail settings.
This feature enables continuous dimming daylighting solutions along with standard energy-savings from on/off control features.
The Tandem also provides users the ability to network panels together, which allows PLC Multipoint to address the needs of its larger customers with an interface that the Bantam established for smaller applications. Customers will find the expansion of features easy to program with the PLC Designer User Interface.
Tandem’s additional features include four enclosure sizes, up to 48 relays per enclosure, as many as 48 low voltage switches per enclosure, reliable 20A mechanically latching relays, multiple scheduling options and an integrated LCD interface at every panel.
