PEX Purple Pipe Is for Reclaimed Water Applications

To further meet the growing demand for sustainable building systems, Uponor North America (Uponor) offers a PEX purple pipe in sizes up to 2 inches for commercial and residential reclaimed water applications. In addition to its existing 1/2-, 3/4- and 1-inch sizes, Uponor AquaPEX Reclaimed Water pipe is now available in 1 1/4-, 1 1/2- and 2- sizes, as well.

The new offering comes in response to a growing need for water reuse systems in drought-stricken areas around the country. Offering a reclaimed water pipe in larger sizes gives professionals the opportunity to design and install even more reclaimed water applications to help conserve fresh-water resources.
