Muralux-T, an architectural accent fixture with dual function uplight and downlight beams, is available from U.S. Architectural Lighting. The uplight beam highlights building elements above the fixture while the downlight beam improves perimeter safety in public areas. The luminaire can be specified in either HID or LED light sources.
Surface-mountable, the Muralux-T is designed for interior or exterior applications and is typically installed over doorways or along walkways and corridors. Ideal mounting heights range from 10 to 20 feet. The fixture is UL-listed for wet locations.
Wattages include: max 28W LED, max 150W HID, and max 42W CFL.
The uplight function is offered in two beam spreads: a vertical “pencil” beam with less than 6 degrees or a flood beam with a 92-degree spread that can illuminate overhangs, reliefs or projections.
The downlight produces full cutoff downward illumination with area lighting optics (IES Type II, III and IV).
The angular design of the Muralux-T complements contemporary styles, though the multi-level “stepped” appearance also coordinates with traditional facades.
Muralux-T measures 17 inches wide by 9.5 inches wide by 7.5 inches deep. The housing is constructed from one-piece precision cast aluminum with integral cooling ribs on the housing and backplate. All electrical components are UL and cUL listed.
The finish is electrostatically-applied TGIC polyester powder coat and is baked at 400 F for hardness and durability. A textured finish is available in black, white, grey, dark bronze or green.
Custom colors are available to match wall tones for a blended look. All U.S. Architectural Lighting products are manufactured in the U.S. to ensure consistent quality, ready inventory and timely shipping.
