Andersen Corp. and the Andersen Corporate Foundation are providing $175,000 in monetary support and product donations to help the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Andersen Corp. is donating $100,000 of windows and doors to Houston Habitat for Humanity to help with rebuilding efforts. The Andersen Corporate Foundation is making a $50,000 donation and pledging to match up to $25,000 in employee donations to the Red Cross.
“The Andersen team is pleased to provide support to help in the recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey,” says Jay Lund, Andersen chairman and CEO.
Andersen and Habitat for Humanity have partnered for more than 20 years to build affordable homes for families across the country.
“We’re thankful for the generous donation of windows and doors from Andersen,” says Allison Hay, executive director of Houston Habitat for Humanity. “We have many Habitat families impacted by this disaster and Andersen’s support is much appreciated.”
