Arcalux UV Lighting Fixture to be Manufactured and Sold by American Green Technology

American Green Technology Inc. (AGT) has added Arcalux to its energy efficient/green technology family. Arcalux products include its patented Health Risk Management System (HRMS), an energy-efficient lighting fixture merged with UV technology into a single product that addresses the serious health-care issue of airborne pathogens, a common cause of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs).

AGT has concluded its licensing agreement with Arcalux Corporation to manufacture, market, and sell the patented Arcalux line of products through AGT’s agents.

The HRMS UV lighting fixture is the only patented fixture designed specifically for hospitals, nursing homes, child-care centers and other facilities needing to address the problem of eradicating disease-causing pathogens from air.

The Arcalux HRMS is designed to saves lives and health-care dollars by destroying airborne pathogens that cause HAIs, which are the fourth major cause of death with an estimated 1.7 million patients contracting an HAI, resulting in 99,000 deaths each year. Centers for Disease Control estimates $45 billion is added to the annual health-care costs to treat HAIs.

Air circulation modules, along with an Ultraviolet-C elimination module, are specifically designed to eliminate up to 99 percent of pathogens in a single pass.
