ASTM Committee on Building and Environmental Acoustics Presents Wallace Waterfall Award

Eric J. Miller, director of acoustics with Intertek, York, Penn., was honored with the Wallace Waterfall Award from the ASTM International committee on building and environmental acoustics (E33).

Miller was recognized for his contributions to the development, preparation, and acceptance of standards in acoustics.

Miller, an ASTM International member since 1993, has previously served as a laboratory manager with Owens Corning, and a laboratory supervisor with Johns Manville. He holds an associates degree in electronics from Auraria Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1976 until 1984 and specialized in radar, communication, and computer systems.

In addition to ASTM International, Miller is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives, American Architectural Manufacturers Association, and the Acoustical Society of America.
