The Sabi Cladding’s design encompasses concepts of timeworn elegance with a richly mellow beauty. Sabi Cladding is made from reclaimed Douglas fir and hemlock solid and glue laminated beams taken from deconstructed industrial, agricultural and residential buildings in the Pacific Northwest and is FSC Certified – Recycled. Wabi-sabi can be found in the presence of marks and textured features considered to be symbolic of the passing of time, weather and living use.
Sabi Cladding colors and textures emphasize unrefined or rustic simplicity, the premium finishes include: Char, Weather, Shoji White and Lotus. The palette is drawn from blacks, grays, whites and earth tones, creating an opportunity for innovation and creativity in hospitality, commercial, retail and residential indoor spaces. The cladding is 1/2-inch thick by 4 1/2-inches wide and comes in random lengths of 2 by 8 feet. The tongue and groove joints have straight edges.
