DuraTite 2.0 is part of the company’s new line of spray foam products which complements the BioBased Insulation product line that Rhino Linings has offered since December 2012. The new product is a 245fa-blown spray foam insulation for buildings. The product has been formulated so that it can be applied on substrates with a wide temperature range, which means it can easily be applied in extremely hot and extremely cold climates. Because it is a closed cell insulation, DuraTite 2.0 spray foam insulation is an ideal choice for these climates and for specific applications where vapor drive is a concern.
DuraTite 2.0 spray foam seals and insulates in one step, providing an installed R-value of 6.3 at 1 inch and an installed R-value of 26 at 4 inches. In addition to helping reduce the amount of energy it takes to heat and cool a building, DuraTite 2.0 spray foam insulation also integrates 3 percent bio-based content and 3 percent pre-consumer recycled content in the finished foam.
DuraTite 2.0 spray foam insulation is installed by approved contractors.
