Delta Hardwood Flooring Inc. has purchased the finishing lines and related equipment from Lumber Liquidators. As part of its quarterly report, Lumber Liquidators released details of the agreement wherein Delta/Eagle Bay has agreed to sell finished products and provide certain services to Lumber Liquidators moving forward. This agreement will represent approximately one quarter (25 percent) of the unit production previously handled in the Lumber Liquidators Toano, Va., facility, with the balance being supplied by other third-party, unaffiliated vendors.
Randy Bowers, president & founder of Delta/Eagle Bay states, “This new agreement is clearly beneficial for all involved. We’re ready to launch our Frank Lloyd Wright Collection through Lumber Liquidators, and by adding finishing capabilities, we will now be producing all phases of our quality hardwood flooring collections. We have the space, the manpower and, with the move of the finishing lines to our Boonville, N.Y. facility, we have the ability to handle every aspect of flooring production.”
“We have worked with Lumber Liquidators for many years as an OEM/private label supplier, and while doing so, have developed a strong relationship,” Bowers continues. “This new business transaction and resulting responsibilities will make our bond even stronger, and our collective sales even greater!”
Dennis Knowles, CEO of Lumber Liquidators adds, “We are excited and confident about expanding our partnership with Delta Hardwood. We are placing our trust in Delta to produce our most premium brand, Bellawood, and know they will continue to maintain our high standards for quality pre-finished hardwood flooring.”
