DORMA, a manufacturer and marketer of premium access solutions and services, has won a 2015 Construction Marketing STAR award from the Construction Marketing Association.
Each year the Construction Marketing STAR awards recognize construction industry professionals for marketing excellence in 16 categories and 78 sub-categories, along with Best in Show and Construction Marketer of the Year awards.
Selected as the Superstar award winner in the Collateral/Literature category, DORMA’s MUTO Multifunction Manual Sliding Door System product folder was designed to grab attention and spark the imagination when presented to distributors and customers.
According to Catherine Frean, DORMA project manager, who developed the design concept for the folder, “We wanted a folder that not only would complement the literature it would hold, but also that mimicked the action of the MUTO sliding door.”
Frean worked closely with marketing materials manufacturer Corporate Image throughout the design and production process.
DORMA’s folder was selected by a panel of Construction Marketing Association volunteer judges, all with a minimum of five years of construction marketing industry experience. Judging criteria included consideration of quality of execution and measures of marketing results.
