American Tin Ceilings is proud to announce the addition of 9/16 inch Drop-In panels to our product offerings. Originally offered for 15/16 inch suspended grid systems, our 9/16 inch Drop-In panels expand the installation opportunities of tin tiles by accommodating ceiling systems with a 9/16 inch grid.

American Tin’s edges have a 1/8 inch indention that allows the panels to
sit flush with the grid, directly against the bars, removing gaps or extra spacing and creating a
seamless installation.

The Drop-In panels are available as Standard or Acoustical Performance Panels, which feature micro-perforations.

All of American Tin’s 9/16 inch Drop-In panels are available as Standard or Acoustical Performance Panels, which feature .0028 inch micro-perforations, allowing sound to pass through the panel. When backed with a fiberglass pad, this achieves a noise reduction coefficient of 0.85, making our Drop-In 9/16 inch and 15/16 inch panels ideal for bars, restaurants, and hospitality environments.
