The Energy Management Association (EMA) will conduct a seminar and exam for its Energy Management Professional Certification (EMP) on Nov. 9-10, 2016, in Birmingham, Ala., in conjunction with the Energy 2016 Symposium.
The EMP certification provides a framework for a commissioning-based, energy management process that achieves energy efficiency and building performance. The day-and-a-half EMP Seminar is followed by a four-hour exam for certification. Candidates may enroll for the seminar only or both the seminar and exam.
The Energy 2016 Symposium that is hosting the EMP seminar & exam is designed for federal and private sector energy and facility managers to satisfy training and continuing education requirements and features a variety of education events and expo.
Those registering for the EMP seminar (only) or the seminar & exam will be automatically registered for the full conference at no additional charge. Registration for both the EMP Program and Symposium and information on the EMP application process is available here.
