Enlighted Inc., a provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for commercial buildings, announced the expansion of its global operations with the opening of its French subsidiary office in Paris. The new subsidiary office will be responsible for driving the adoption of Enlighted’s smart sensor technology to customers in the region and furthering its presence in EMEA.
“Enlighted has driven radical change for customers in the U.S., equipping buildings with smart sensor technology that has enabled them to recognize huge cost savings and become smarter about energy savings, productivity, occupancy and more,” says Enlighted Executive Vice President Christian Rodatus. “Enlighted is committed to driving the same evolution across Europe and the opening of our new subsidiary office in France is the next step in bringing commercial real estate into the Internet of Things.”
Enlighted has cultivated strategic business partnerships in the European market for nearly two years, including Electricite de France (EDF), the third largest utility company in the world. Demonstrated by the European Union’s (EU) recent target for all new buildings to be nearly zero-energy by 2020, the market’s commitment to smart buildings and sustainable cities provides a strong business opportunity.

The new subsidiary office will be managed by Stephane Werba, a 20-year veteran of the European technology industry who joins Enlighted as vice president.
This week, Enlighted was honored by being listed as a 2015 Sustainia100 solution for its smart sensor technology and recognized at the ceremony in Paris on June 11, 2015. Additionally, for the second consecutive year Enlighted was also awarded the 2015 AT&T Supplier Award for its work in cost savings, customer service, performance, team work, diversity supplier spend and supplier sustainability.
Enlighted also maintains offices in the U.K., Singapore and India.
