Gessi pairs beauty and function with its new line of Sensor Taps. The complete collection of award-winning faucets has been infused with advanced technology to create a new class of hands-free faucets.
The Sensor Tap line includes the brand’s most sought-after faucet designs, such as Inciso by David Rockwell, Rilievo by HBA, Rettangolo and the Gessi 316. They are a smart choice for commercial and hospitality settings too, bringing a refreshing upscale elegance to public settings where usually only plain mediocrity prevails. All are offered in an array of finishes, from gleaming metallics and sophisticated mattes to exotic textures and patterns.
With today’s emphasis on frequent handwashing, Gessi understands the importance of adding touch-free performance technology to its line. The innovative system uses a sensitive infrared sensor and is designed to promote good hygiene, improve efficiency and reduce water consumption. Water flow is activated as hands approach the tap or sensor plate within an adjustable detection distance, completely eliminating the need to touch a faucet lever. The flow automatically shuts off within two seconds of the hands’ retreat. The motion sensor can be connected to an electrical network or powered by battery. The sensors are located in the tap plate, faucet base or a separate control in coordinating style and finish depending on the model.
Gessi offers Sensor Taps in various configurations, including basin mixers, wall-mounted designs, or as standalone units with separate controls that become the bath’s focal point. The Inciso, Rettangolo and Rilievo are constructed of solid brass, and Gessi 316 Collection is stainless steel. All collections offer a flow rate of 1.2 gallons per minute at 43 PSI and 0.2 gallons per cycle.
