Friedrich Air Conditioning Co. has announced it is offering a contractor reward and training program.
Developed with contractors’ needs in mind, the Friedrich Advantage program supports those who install the company’s line of ductless products. Friedrich’s Advantage program is designed to offer the rewards, in-depth training, support and benefits that matter to contractors.
“Ductless system installation and support is a growth opportunity for contractors,” says Danielle Howerton, Friedrich ductless system program manager. “Contractors have voiced the need for product training and support programs that help them build their business. Friedrich designed the Friedrich Advantage program to address those concerns and build confidence in contractors’ knowledge of our ductless products.”
Contractors can enroll in the Friedrich Advantage program through their local Friedrich distributor or representative. The program offers contractors three ways to get involved:
- Friedrich Advantage Basic: Participants receive initial education and application training for Friedrich ductless systems and a $15 reward for each system sold. They also have access to online resources via Friedrich’s training portal, a technical support hotline and a way to register systems via Friedrich’s Advantage Program mobile website.
- Friedrich Advantage Plus: Participants receive all the benefits of the Advantage Basic program, plus additional installation and service training. In addition, Advantage Plus members receive a one year labor warranty and 10 year parts and compressor warranty on Friedrich J Series ductless systems and are listed on the friedrich.com dealer locator.
- Friedrich Advantage Premier: In addition to the benefits of Plus, Advantage Premier participants receive troubleshooting NATE training, $25 per system rewards, customer lead referrals and advertising and marketing support. Premier members can also register for trainings with the Friedrich Ductless Academy. To qualify for Friedrich Advantage Premier, participants must sell a minimum of 25 Friedrich ductless systems.
“I can’t say enough about the Friedrich team, and the support and service the company provides,” says Kevin Albies of Energy Air in Guilford, Conn. “From being available to answer technical questions to solving issues, the Advantage program offers a value for businesses such as ours.”
Friedrich offers both a top-tier and mid-tier line of ductless systems, based on the needs, budgets and priorities of its customers. The company’s mid-tier 16 SEER Floating Air Series comes in five models, with 115 volt and 230/208 volt heat pump units. Friedrich’s top-tier line is the 20 SEER J Series, which is available in more than 1,000 multizone configurations, including wall-mounted, ceiling cassette and concealed duct models.
