Gaco Western has announced that GacoOnePass F1850 Closed Cell Foam has completed the Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) Material Evaluation process for medium density sprayed polyurethane foam and has been deemed an ABAA Evaluated Material and part of an ABAA Evaluated Assembly.
This evaluation is the pinnacle of Gaco’s effort and investment to ensure approval of GacoOnePass Closed Cell Foam for all construction types applicable to commercial and industrial construction. In addition to a Class A (Class 1) fire rating and AC377 Appendix X approval, certified third party laboratories and fire scientists have confirmed GacoOnePass meets or exceeds the requirements of NFPA 285 and NFPA 259.
Additionally, GacoOnePass was awarded both GREENGUARD and GREENGUARD Gold Certifications, signifying that it has been tested and certified to be in compliance with chemical emissions guidelines set by UL Environment, and that it meets third-party chemical emissions standards.
“Gaco Western is committed to offering products that provide contractors the performance and safety they expect. This certification of GacoOnePass as an ABAA Evaluated Material, combined with GREENGUARD certification and approval for use in all construction types, opens up new markets and gives our contractors a competitive advantage,” states Tom Sojak, vice president, GacoWallFoam.
