Hardware Finish Will Patina With Use Over Time

Ashley Norton has introduced its White Medium patina. Harmonizing with both traditional and modern design themes, the pewter-toned shade is a finish that changes over time and with use. Handmade in small batches, White Medium develops a patina when exposed to the natural environment, allowing it to age throughout the life of the hardware.

As an oxidized version of its White Bronze finish (which shares the base metal), White Medium is a transitional finish.

The White Medium patina is hand-applied to each bronze piece. As the metal oxidizes, the natural white color undergoes a transformation to a pewter-like patina. Due to minute fluctuations in temperature or humidity, each batch varies slightly. Combined with the sand casting process of each individual piece, this enhances the one-of-a-kind look of each element. And since the finish oxidizes rather than corroding, White Medium finished elements are suitable for exterior use.

The Ashley Norton bronze collection is available in the White Medium as well as White Bronze, Light Bronze, Dark Bronze, and Matt Black. Ashley Norton architectural hardware is available at kitchen and bath dealers throughout North America.
