Hubbell Lighting has launched a competition to challenge the design community to create lighting brilliance—the 2015 LitePro DLX Design Competition. The competition is open to lighting design professionals and students internationally through Dec. 1, 2015.
Hubbell Lighting’s LitePro DLX allows lighting professionals and students to simply and intuitively create lighting design proposals in a flexible, comprehensive and visually stunning fashion. The easy-to-use platform not only makes professional lighting design simpler and accessible for everyone, but also creates a network for designers all over the world. LitePro DLX software is available as a free download and rivals existing lighting design software that typically carries an associated user fee.
Entrants are encouraged to demonstrate how the LitePro DLX platform allows architecture to be seen and experienced through lighting design. Both simulated and existing building designs are permitted. Use of indoor and outdoor spaces, with the inclusion of objects, furniture and textures, are recommended. In addition, wall material should show degree of reflectance.
A panel of lighting and design professionals will judge all entries that meet the competition requirements. Winners in both student and industry professional categories will receive win a Stainless Steel Apple Watch or iPad Air 2; runner-ups will win an Apple Watch Sport or iPad Mini.
All submissions must be received by Dec. 1, 2015 and can be sent to [email protected]. Rules and submissions requirements for the Hubbell Lighting 2015 LitePro DLX Design Competition are available on the design competition Web page.
