Pulp Studio introduces Colorlinq, a new tool to greatly reduce time and cost for designers who specify custom colors for the company’s Pintura water-based glass coating system. If a designer or architect gives Pulp Studio a color chip or reference number from any number of the existing color systems, Colorlinq searches the Pulp Studio extensive database of past custom formulas to find that exact or closest color match. The designer can immediately view the color on a mobile device and order a sample. Pulp Studio has created thousands of proprietary paint colors for its Pintura product over the years and chances are fairly likely there will be a suitable option. If not, then a new submit is created to produce an exact match which in turn goes into the data base for future use.
A salesperson equipped with a mobile device can simply enter the designers color choice and immediately find a variety of matching and similar colors within Colorlinq. After a selection is made they simply reference the color and order the sample. The time savings is tremendous and will allow designers to first review options of existing custom colors rather than starting from scratch for every new selection.
