Insulated Metal Panel Manufacturers Rebrand Group and Product Line

Vicwest Building Products, a division of Vicwest Inc., and All Weather Insulated Panels, two North American manufacturers of insulated metal panels (IMPs), have announced the rebranding of their North American IMP Group and IMP product line under the “All Weather Insulated Panels” banner.

This rebranding follows recent business advancements between the two companies that include the joint commercialization of a third manufacturing facility in 2012, technology and best practice synergies that have standardized their IMP operations and products across North America, and the solidification of Vicwest’s investment in All Weather. Under the new brand strategy, all profiles produced in each of the manufacturing locations (Vacaville, Calif.; Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; and Little Rock, Ark.) will carry the “All Weather Insulated Panels” brand and All Weather will become known as “All Weather Insulated Panels, A Vicwest Company”. The founders of All Weather, Bill and Michael Lowery, will continue to hold key leadership positions within the rebranded IMP Group to ensure continued expansion of the business and product line.

“The driving force for the IMP Group has been, and will continue to be, delivering products and adopting procedures and technologies that reflect the highest standards in the industry regardless of location or plant,” says Scott Ringler, marketing director for Vicwest. “Adopting the strength of the All Weather brand and standards across all manufacturing operations and a cohesive brand identity for the entire product line are clear signals of this ongoing commitment.”

The All Weather Insulated Panels brand will be rolled-out across all of the group’s operations during the coming months. The new identity will be applied to all marketing and communications collateral, including the relaunch of the website slated for early May 2013.
