The Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap Studio iPad app blends the company’s color inspiration tools with a tablet’s capabilities, including high definition, pinch, zoom and swipe features. Users can find the closest-matching paint colors to those captured within an image and fine-tune colors using lightness, saturation and hue features. Preloaded room scenes or uploaded images can be painted with a finger. Paint colors can be matched to existing photos in the user’s iPad library, on Flickr or Facebook. The app also can calculate how much paint is needed for a room.
