Kemper System America Inc. has added three members to its NY metro area team to bolster service in New York City, the epicenter of its success in architectural water and weatherproofing solutions in the U.S. Jae Horbacz was named architectural representative; Jeremy Naves, contractor representative; and Avi Siwlal, account executive.
“Our roots are in New York City, and our products have stood the test of time on landmarks from Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building to the New World Trade Center,” says Richard Doornink, president and managing director of Kemper System America Inc. “We are now adding talent across key functions to help customers address challenges across the building envelope with our expanded product portfolio.”
The company acquired STS Coatings in December 2016, and Kemper System products now include, “GreatSeal construction sealants, elastomer-based Roof Guardian coatings ideal for Cool Roofs, plus our liquid-applied Wall Guardian air barrier,” he adds.
In her role, Architectural Representative Jae Horbacz conducts seminars to educate architects and contractors about critical points in building envelope construction and the importance of vapor and water barrier systems. She is a LEED-certified architect with more than 30 years of experience, focusing on solutions for the exterior building envelope and façade construction. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
Contractor Representative Jeremy Naves serves as company liaison with contractors throughout the construction process from bidding to project completion. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Redeemer University in Ancaster, Ontario.
Account Executive Avi Siwlal is responsible for business development throughout New York City. He is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from Iona Business School in New Rochelle, N.Y., and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from CUNY, Queens College in Flushing, N.Y.
