To offer laminate countertop quoting in real time, L.E. Smith developed a web-based technology solution named SQUAD. SQUAD allows clients to independently quote a laminate, or a quartz kitchen, bathroom, or multi-unit project in minutes. SQUAD also serves as an online database for businesses to record and monitor their countertop quotes and orders through L.E. Smith. Additionally, SQUAD houses online training videos, sales and marketing resources, order tracking, and product knowledge. When asked about the name, Laura Juarez, CEO and president of L.E.
