Laminators Inc. has appointed David Miller as regional manager for architectural products in the Mid-Atlantic and Chesapeake regions.
As regional manager, Miller is responsible for performing field promotional work and relationship management to sell and develop new business. This includes working with current major accounts as well as developing new territories and new industries. Some of Miller’s main responsibilities consist of demonstrating products/services and providing product application advice to the customer, as well as coordinating company technical engineering services to develop solutions for the customers’ needs. He will play a key role in increasing sales volume and profitability in the regions.
Miller has a combined 23 years of experience in many levels of sales and management within several areas of the construction industry, as well as holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Miller is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) holding various positions in the Pittsburgh Chapter and Middle Atlantic Region (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia), including president; vice president; communications chair; education chair; nominations and membership committees and many others.
Through CSI, Miller has been presented the Kenneth T. Naige Memorial Award for continuous years of service and through activities in the Chapter, Region and Institute; as well as the Communication Award for continuous and collaborative efforts to design and produce correspondence within the Pittsburgh Chapter.
