Nordeon USA has introduced the SWEA High Bay Luminaire, a high efficiency LED high bay that delivers up to 120 lumens per watt.
SWEA LED high bay luminaire is applicable for use in a variety of industrial and institutional settings. The luminaire is designed to provide a two-year payback or less by delivering potential energy savings up to 50 percent when compared to conventional solutions, and up to 70 percent when combined with occupancy or daylighting controls.
The SWEA rectangular luminaire housing is extruded aluminum with a shallow, gently sloping top profile. Thermal management is accomplished without external fins, producing a smooth exterior surface to mitigate the accumulation of dust and debris, resulting in maximum component life.
SWEA delivers up to 120 lumens per watt in 8,000 or 10,000-lumen packages. The luminaire offers a choice of distributions including narrow, medium, or wide beams, as well as a diffused distribution option for reduced brightness at lower mounting heights. Four color temperatures ranging from warm to cool with a CRI greater than 80 are available.
SWEA is rated for operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -31F to 113F. Optional 0-10v dimming is available on request. The luminaire is CSA Certified for Wet Locations to U.S. and Canadian standards and carries an IP65 rating.
SWEA’s extruded aluminum housing has an anodized finish. The luminaire measures 24-inches in length by 11.5-inches wide with an overall height of 2.5-inches. Lens is clear tempered glass. The suspension kit includes a stainless steel aircraft cable.
The high bay luminaire is suited to interior commercial and light industrial settings with mounting heights of 20-feet or above. Suitable applications include big box retail stores, supermarkets, warehouses, or manufacturing facilities.
