Larson Electronics LLC has released a solar powered LED light tower system that features eight 300-watt solar panels providing 30 hours of runtime per charge; a folding 6-stage light tower that deploys four 200-watt LEDs up to 30 feet; a 360 degree rotating boom; twenty-six 105aH AGM batteries; a Morningstar TS-MPPT-600V solar controller and a water-cooled diesel generator. The entire assembly is mounted on a single axle aluminum trailer for transportation, making this light tower ideal for remote and rugged locations.
The SPLT-2.4K-LM30-FM-26X105AH-4X40L-10KW-CPR from Larson Electronics is a solar powered LED light tower. This lighting system is equipped with eight 300-watt solar panels, four 200-watt LED fixtures and twenty-six 105aH AGM batteries. The solar panels have a 30-degree tilt for sunlight exposure and provide 30 hours of runtime on a single charge. The power cells come with an expected lifespan range of 5-7 years. The LED units operate on 24V DC and provide 13,000 lumens of white light with a color temperature rating of 5,000K, and can be used with a timer for automated control.
Rounding out this complete lighting solution is a Morningstar TS-MPPT-600V controller that manages power storage and allocation between the solar panels and batteries, internal cooling fans, an integrated compass and a sturdy NEMA 3R junction box, as well as a Perkins 403D-11G EPA Tier 4 generator with Stamford PI044E. The telescoping light mast is a 6-stage aluminum alloy unit that extends up to 29.5 feet and is retractable to 8 feet using a hydraulic lifting system. All components are mounted on a single-axle trailer with 185R/14C tires/rims.
