Lunera Lighting Inc. announced the expansion of the Helen Lamp linear plug-and-play product family. Building owners and operators can upgrade their lighting infrastructure with 4-foot T8 linear ballast-bypassed (120- to 277-volt line driven) or 2- and 4-foot T8 linear ballast-driven LED lamps. For high-bay areas, the ballast-driven 4-foot T5HO LED lamp is a high-lumen alternative to HIDs. These high-performance linear LED lamps instantly lower energy cost by as much as 55 percent.
Like the 4-foot Helen Lamp ballast-driven T8, these linear LED lamps use top-quality glass construction with end-necking for strength. The linear lamps won’t yellow and/or sag over time and a broad 330-degree beam angle enables the lamps to replicate a fluorescent tube’s performance in the fixture. Compact end caps maximize the illuminated length of the tube, adding lumens and evenly distributing light.
Lunera’s linear lamps include high-performance LEDs mounted on a flexible PCB for improved reliability and better thermal conduction. These LEDs are powered at only 40 percent of their rated drive for improved efficacy up to 123 lumens per watt and provide an extended lamp life of 50,000 hours to L70. The lamps are available in a variety of color temperatures to create just the right ambiance for any interior environment.
