Lutron Electronics, a manufacturer of energy-saving, wireless lighting and shade control, announced the results of its “Contractors Win with Lutron Sensors” promotion. The sweepstakes was developed to celebrate and boost awareness of Lutron’s reliable and simple-to-install sensors, including the Maestro 0-10V dimmer sensor. Hundreds of contractors won prizes, including two grand prize winners who received trips of a lifetime, plus $4,000 worth of Lutron Caséta Wireless products for their homes, as well as a custom training session to fit their business needs and preferences. CasétaWireless provides end-users with convenient control of lights, shades and temperature—all from a smartphone or tablet.
The grand prize winners were Michael Belue of Robinsville, Miss., and Kevin Duffy of Manchester, N.H. Each winner had the opportunity to choose between the following four trips of a lifetime valued at approximately $26,000:
- A trip for two to the 2016 Professional Football’s Big Game in San Francisco.
- A trip for four to Indy’s Big Race in Indianapolis.
- A sun and sea escape trip for four to Miami Beach, Fla.
- A fly fishing adventure trip for four to Gateway Canyons, Colo.
Fifteen regional winners each won $2,000 worth of Lutron Caséta Wireless products for their homes, as well as a custom training session to fit their business needs and preferences, and hundreds of contractors won Lutron Maestro in-wall occupancy sensors.
The “Contractors Win with Lutron Sensors” promotion—which ran Oct. 1, 2014 through Jan. 31, 2015—was open to any U.S. electrical contractor, electrical maintenance or facilities manager at least 21 years of age.
“We want to congratulate all of the winners and look forward to hearing about their experience with our products,” says Brian Donlon, vice president of sales for Lutron in North America. “It is Lutron’s goal to continue to provide our valued contractors with worry-free solutions like our sensors that minimize callbacks and keep their customers delighted for years to come.”
