The Marvin Companies has promoted Christine Marvin to the position of Director of Corporate Strategy. A fourth-generation family member of the family-owned and operated fenestration company, Christine previously served as the director of marketing for the Marvin Windows and Doors brand.
In her new role, Christine will lead the development and implementation of strategic efforts to bring The Marvin Companies’ vision and purpose for the future to life, and will report to Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy Jim Macaulay.
“Christine’s experience and industry knowledge are assets to The Marvin Companies,” said Macaulay. “During her time leading marketing for Marvin Windows and Doors, Christine demonstrated both product development and marketing communications leadership. Those skills are essential to the corporate strategy team.”
Prior to her work as the director of marketing, Christine also served as marketing communications manager and group product planning manager at Marvin Windows and Doors. She also served as the territory manager for the company’s West Coast distributor, BMD Inc.
“I am proud to have the opportunity to help lead a business my great-grandfather laid the groundwork for more than 100 years ago. His ingenuity sparked an energy in the second, third and fourth generations, who have evolved the legacy of the Marvin brands,” said Christine. “In my new role, I’m fortunate to be able to stand on that heritage while marrying my passion for marketing with strategic planning for The Marvin Companies’ continued growth.”
A graduate of Macalester College, Christine also earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in integrated marketing strategy from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business.
