Metal-Era Inc., a provider of commercial engineered roof solutions, announces it has received certification as a Minority Business Enterprise with Empire State Development, the Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development (DMWBD). With this new certification, Metal-Era can develop mutually beneficial relationships and facilitate business opportunities throughout New York state.

DMWBD’s mission is to support the equality of economic opportunities for MWBE’s and to eliminate barriers to their participation in state contracts. They also strive to promote the business development of MWBE’s through education, and encourage state agencies that are engaged in contracting activities to awards a fair share of state contracts to Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises.
