ThermalSafe metal panels from Metl-Span are now available with a Non Exposed Fastening (NEF) solution to offer architects, designers and building owners a flush appearance.
ThermalSafe NEF mineral wool panels are the latest development in fire-resistant wall construction technology with the aesthetic appeal of a smooth surface. The one-step, one-crew installation of the LockGuard interlocking side joint feature enhances the fire-resistant characteristics of the panels. ThermalSafe panels are attached to the intermediate support members using concealed clips and fasteners. The end panels will still need to be attached with through-fasteners required for fire ratings but that exposed fastener head can be covered with trim.
