Moen Faucets Will Include Microban Technology

Microban International Ltd., a provider of built-in antimicrobial product protection, has partnered with Moen Inc., a North American faucet manufacturer. In March 2013, Moen will launch two new faucets featuring Microban antimicrobial technology.

High moisture areas, such as kitchens and bathrooms, are hot spots for the growth of microbes. Microban antimicrobial protection will be added into select Moen bath and kitchen faucet finishes to inhibit the growth of damaging bacteria. Microban technologies are engineered to work continuously even between cleanings and won’t wash off or wear away.
