Nedap Light Management System Meets DLC Qualifications

Luxon, the light management system of Nedap, is qualified by the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) and listed in the Networked Lighting Control (NLC) Qualified Product List. This means that the Nedap system meets the DLC performance specifications and is eligible for additional utility rebates at DLC Member utilities and energy efficiency programs in the United States and Canada.

The Networked Lighting Control Qualified Product List is a new DLC ranking, which provides a resource to the lighting market to understand, evaluate, and compare Networked Lighting Control Systems.

Thomas Lang, vice president of Nedap Inc., states, “The fact that DLC came up with criteria for networked lighting controls is an indication of the added value of ‘connected lighting’. This ranking is a valuable contribution to achieve new sustainability goals. The availability of real time lighting information empowers users to make highly informed decisions for reduced operating costs and increased user comfort. Qualifying for DLC Networked Lighting Control makes it easier for our customers to invest in energy efficient lighting solutions and connected lighting in particular.”
