National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) President and CEO Kevin J. Cosgriff will speak at the 2019 Global Grid Forum about innovation in 21st Century power systems, on Sept. 11, 2019, in Vancouver, Canada. This is a two-day event sponsored by the Association of Power Utilities of Africa, BC Hydro, Canadian Electricity Association, Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corp., Edison Electric Group, Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization, and Renewables Cities.
During the Technology Innovations for Grid Planning, Operations, and Maintenance Panel, Cosgriff will discuss the technologies and practices that are part of the way transmission companies – and their suppliers – plan and deliver power over long distances.
“Digitalization provides new possibilities for grid optimization,” says Cosgriff. “New technology applications are speeding the transition towards a modern energy system that will unlock significant economic and societal benefits; including better performance, predictable costs, and greater capability for grid operators, manufacturers, and customers alike.”
Join NEMA on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 11:00 am-12:00 pm PDT to learn more about Technology Innovations for Grid Planning, Operations, and Maintenance.
