Karndean Designflooring had added eight stone visuals to its Karndean LooseLay range. This non-interlocking floating floor is notable for multi-directional visuals, efficient install time, acoustic properties, individually replaceable tiles and seamless transition to commercial carpet tile.
Known for original product designs, these new visuals replicate the looks of travertine, concrete and slate in a 20mil loose lay LVT format.
Karndean Designflooring first introduced its K-Wave friction grip backing in 2011, earning the Karndean LooseLay range a Best of NeoCon Innovation Award, and was recognized with a 2019 Vision Award from FacilitiesNet.com. The K-Wave backing combined with the weight of the planks, holds the product in place without the use of full-spread adhesive in most applications.
Ideal for overnight retrofits and projects with tight turnaround times, Karndean LooseLay can be laid over most existing hard floors with minimal preparation, as well as over subfloors with an RH of up to 95 percent. LooseLay is constructed to perform in a variety of environments, including hotels, retail environments and hospitals, as well as temporary and planned removal spaces.
