eProject Builder, (ePB), is an online data management tool used by energy service companies in their efforts to improve the nation’s building infrastructure. The success of the platform has been recognized, as it received a 2018 R&D 100 Award. ePB is a web-based system that assists in the development of a savings and cost profile for building improvement projects, with a focus on energy efficiency. ePB is a service developed and maintained by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), and is used in the accreditation process for energy service companies by the National Association of Energy Service Companies’ (NAESCO).
