YKK AP America Inc. has introduced YCW 750 OGP, a curtainwall product incorporating a pressure plate made from polyamide 6.6, which is widely accepted and specified as a means of improving the thermal performance of window products. The pressure plate also reduces temperature transfer from the exterior to the interior, creating a more comfortable interior space. YCW 750 OGP will deliver a 20 percent gain in U-factor performance and 10 percent gain in its condensation-resistance factor when used with standard low-emissivity glass.
