Hartell’s PlenumPlus Commercial Grade condensate pump is used to remove condensate formed in venting and air ducts in the plenum spaces of commercial buildings.
Hartell, a brand of Accudyne Industries, announced a new version of the PlenumPlus Commercial Grade condensate pump used to remove condensate formed in venting and air ducts in the plenum spaces of office buildings, manufacturing facilities, schools, hospitals or any other commercial space.
The PlenumPlus pump has been designed to bring a new level of safety to HVAC applications. The latest version of the pump has successfully passed United Laboratories’ 2043 Fire Test for Heat and Visible Smoke Release for Discrete Products Installed in Air-Handling Spaces. The materials used to construct the pump are fire-resistant, with low-smoke-producing characteristics, as outlined in the National Electric Code, NFPA 70; the International Mechanical Code, NFPA 5000; and the Standard for the Installation of Air Conditioning and Ventilating Systems, NFPA 90A.
The newest version of the PlenumPlus Commercial Grade condensate pump also features a robust design, enhanced pumping capacity and three new levels of motor-bearing protection from steam and water splash to ensure maximum motor life. A larger reservoir, plus new serviceable check valves with standard provisions for low-level inlets facilitate a wider array of installation options and make for easier maintenance.
