Versatex Building Products LLC has added a fourth realistic woodtone finish, a shade called Amber, to its Canvas Series of PVC surfaces for porch and veranda ceilings.
The Canvas Series was developed for projects that call for the look of hardwood overhead, without the mess of onsite finishing or the cost of old-school installation. Black cherry, walnut and tropical macore, the original Canvas tones, met a positive response from both installers and distributors.
Like the original Canvas Series, the Amber shade conforms to the standard Versatex WP4 tongue-and-groove (T&G) profile, with tactile woodgrain laminate permanently bonded to moisture-resistant cellular PVC. Versatex manufactures the nominal 1×6 WP4 profile (actual thickness a full¾-inches) in 18-foot lengths that can span up to 24-inches on center. The matching 4-inch crown moulding comes in 16-foot lengths. The system provides a color-matched touchup kit for use on butt joints or fastener marks.
Canvas Series PVC is available through Versatex Building Products distributors nationwide. Contractors, distributors and lumberyard operators can learn more from regional Versatex Building Products representatives.
