Knight Wall Systems has launched its Reveal-Girt, an effective new rainscreen framing system designed for open joint, exposed-fastener facades.
The aesthetic advantage to using Reveal-Girt for open-joint façade systems is it creates the illusion of depth in the joint itself. Designed with two wide anchoring surfaces, Reveal-Girt can accommodate two adjoining panel edges on one rail, which delivers both savings and efficiencies in labor and materials. And the available black Fluorpon-finished Reveal-Girt nearly disappears behind the open joint.
Developed primarily for fiber cement panels, the Reveal-Girt is a perforated and pre-punched stiffened rail that can span up to 36 inches on center and be installed vertically over other horizontal rails or directly over rigid foam insulation. Reveal-Girt comes standard in Galvalume coated steel, and is also available in stainless steel.
Knight roll-forms Reveal-Girt in-house to standard and custom lengths. As with all Knight façade systems, Reveal-Girt is a full featured, “drop-in solution” rain screen. All Knight attachment systems are supplied with stainless steel wall anchors, engineered calculated drawings and Knight’s premiere limited warranty.
Knight Wall Systems Inc. is a subsidiary of Knight Construction and Supply Inc., in business since 1968, serving commercial, industrial and institutional customers throughout the Pacific Northwest. The firm has more than 100 employees at its eastern Washington headquarters and manufacturing facility.
