As software company, Raken continues its growth story, it has announced they are expanding offices to the creative redevelopment project, make (cq), in Carlsbad, North County San Diego. Raken proves it doesn’t have to be located in Silicon Valley to scale fast. The company recently received $2 million in capital investment and is distancing its lead as a daily reporting app.
The move will facilitate the company’s rate of growth and continued effort to provide a product for Raken App customers. The software company is hiring for a diverse group of positions that include engineering, marketing, sales and product. New team members will be a part of a group responsible for increasing Raken’s global reach that is currently streamlining construction projects in over 13 different countries.
“We are excited to be moving into our new facilities,” says Dr. Sergey Sundukovskiy, co-founder, chief technology and chief product officer for Raken. “The opportunities to partner and work with other technology companies in this space are boundless. I’m confident we will continue to grow given our new surroundings.”
Raken joins anchor tenant, GoPro, and other companies, such as Verve, in sharing make’s collaborative workplace environment. The space provides a haven for technology-driven businesses that are developing products to solve problems.
“When we first stepped foot on the property we knew this was the place to build our business for the future – it’s a collaborative, creative, high energy environment with like-minded companies,” says Kyle Slager, Raken CEO. “Plus, the amenities are great; we don’t want our team sitting down all day at their computers. We encourage breaks throughout the day, and with the on-site gym and beach, there’s no shortage of options.”
“The Cruzan team is excited to have them as our newest tenant at make,” says Jim Mandler, general manager at Cruzan. “Raken’s talent, commitment to their employees’ overall well-being, and hard-charging nature are all in alignment with our vision for make.”
“Raken’s recent relocation is not only an investment in the future of the company but rather an investment in our employees,” adds Sundukovskiy. “The freedom to work and play and provide the resources to do so makes this the office space of the future.”
