The Raken App, software for construction compliance and reporting, was recently chosen to participate in Facebook’s Start Accelerate program. The Facebook Start Accelerate Track is for startups that are thriving but are now looking to scale.
Program participants, if selected, get an opportunity to work closely with Facebook product managers and engineers, receiving hands on guidance on how to incorporate Facebook existing and upcoming products into their application offering.
“It was energizing to attend F8 Conference and represent the Raken App team members at the Facebook Start program,” says Dr. Sergey Sundukovskiy, PhD, co-founder and chief technology officer/chief product officer for Raken. “Raken’s acceptance into Facebook Start Accelerate Track is a recognition of our record of achievement to date as well as a promise of growth in the future. We were able to connect with developers and engineers who see the same challenges as we do every day. Working with the Facebook developers gave us some tools and insight into our path ahead as we continue to grow.”
The Facebook Accelerate track of the FbStart program offers several benefits for its participants:
- Tools and Services – Attendees receive a package of tools and services from Facebook and over 30 third-party partners including Facebook ad credits, Amazon web services, MailChimp and UserTesting.
- Global Community – Participants in this opportunity meet others in the startup community through Facebook’s online community tools, meetups and global events.
- Support and Mentorship – Attendees connect with Facebook product managers, engineers and operations through events, webinars, email and more.
The list of benefits for selection are lengthy. Many of the products and services come from companies such as: Adobe, Amazon, Dropbox and Salesforce.
“We have aspirations for Raken and our app,” adds Sundukovskiy. “We currently have thousands of clients in 13 countries and are adding over a hundred new customers every month. The experience we gain at the Facebook Start Accelerate program will help us continue to grow and improve.”
