Raven Industries’ Engineered Films Division, an innovative manufacturer of specialty plastic film and sheeting, has released a responsive website to bring its latest product information and full access of industry resources seamlessly to all devices. Raven customers can now download product literature, utilize custom application calculators, zoom in for extreme product close-ups, and submit design requests for brand new products—all on the go through any mobile device.
The new site hosts a collection of valuable resources, including new architectural and engineering courses for the construction and environmental markets that Raven Engineered Films Division serves. Raven recently released two online courses titled “Critical Elements in Specifying Underslab Moisture & Gas Barriers,” an (AIA CES) approved course for construction building design, and “Innovations in Advanced Geomembrane Technologies,” for sustainable environmental project design specifications.
“Decisions are driven by innovation at Raven Industries. Our responsive web design is no different, it has become essential as mobile users today expect it, and without one you can quickly become obsolete in digital marketing,” states Tom Stoebner, director of market development for Raven Industries’ Engineered Films Division. “We gave our marketing team full creative control of the redesign strategy, with one exception: our customers preferred the familiar intuitive navigation from our previous site. This became the framework for our new site strategy to create a dynamic user experience.”
Raven’s responsive site gives users the latest product resources and features and provides for the utilization of advanced digital marketing opportunities. The site design incorporates a simple, fresh, concept with expanded images for maximum exposure. To make the switch seamless, multi-navigation options remained distinctive in the layout, along with easy call-to-action links for all touch screen devices.
