Retrolux and GreenLight IoT have announced a strategic alliance. The alliance will enable lighting retrofit companies, ESCOs, and contractors to prepare, quote and streamline the commissioning of smart lighting systems within the Retrolux software. Retrolux lighting retrofit software enables electrical contractors, ESCOs, and VARs to grow their business by saving time and money and to close deals. The audit, proposal, and ordering functions of the software ensure that lighting retrofit companies are prepared for the challenges of the 21st Century.
GreenLight IoT is a smart building commissioning, servicing, and support agent, servicing both North American and international markets. The GreenLight IoT patent-pending system integration technologies and deployment methodology streamlines the commissioning process of networked control systems. Acting as a bridge between smart device manufacturers and device installers, GreenLight IoT is committed to remaining controls agnostic and has secured partnerships with several of the smart device manufacturers in the industry.
According to Leif Elgethun, CEO of Retrolux, “This strategic relationship will give our clients access to proven processes and software tools to assist them with the commissioning process, as well as allowing connected lighting audits, system design, energy & cost saving calculations, and proposal generation from within the Retrolux platform. Elgethun adds, “GreenLight IoT will also be available as a commissioning support agent to Retrolux clients, with a project handoff included in the software. We are excited to work with GreenLight IoT.”
Kevin Martin, co-founder and VP of marketing & product development at GreenLight IoT states, “We are pleased that this strategic alliance will make our connected lighting commissioning tools readily available within the Retrolux platform.” Martin adds, “GreenLight IoT has commissioned well over 100 million square feet of commercial buildings and this working relationship is an extension of our value-add to the marketplace. We continue to lead in wireless control commissioning, with Zigbee, Bluetooth, LiFi, and WiFi wireless technologies and are extremely excited to announce this strategic partnership.”
GreenLight IoT will be presenting at LightFair International (LFI) on networked controls in Chicago, on May 10, at 10am. In addition, GreenLight IoT and Retrolux will be offering an exclusive LFI Executive Session, in which LightFair attendees will have an opportunity to discuss how Retrolux and GreenLight IoT are helping commercial lighting retrofit companies win more deals, lower costs, find more clients, and streamline the commissioning of advanced lighting control projects.
