Adams Rite, an ASSA ABLOY Group brand, is unveiling its EX Series Exit Devices and providing advancements in mechanical to electrical upgrades.
The EX Series Exit Devices offer a solution featuring a universal hardware kit for aluminium, hollow metal, and wood applications and is available in three different lengths that can be cut in the field. The EX Series will launch with four models including the EX88 Interlocking Rim Exit Device, a bolt design that interlocks the door to frame for strength and durability, the EX89 Pullman Rim Exit Device which is compatible with Adams Rite preload capable 74R2 Electric Strikes and surface mounted HES 9400 Series Electric Strikes, the EX76 CVR Exit Device with concealed adjustable rods and latching assemblies designed for installation ease, and the EX80 Series Dummy Push Bar whose design comes standard with two monitoring switches and is field selectable for active or inactive configuration.
Adams Rite also offers a Mechanical to Electrical upgrade path and products. End-users who are retrofitting an aluminium narrow stile installation are often looking to go from a completely mechanical lock to an electrified solution, which means products must be backward compatible. Adams Rite has concentrated on designing latches and locks that are compatible with the Adams Rite MS Prep, saving time and money during upgrades. It also holds the aesthetics and integrity of an opening when upgrading to a new solution.
With the EX Series and an emphasis on mechanical to electrical upgrades, Adams Rite continues to focus on innovation.
