The Simpson Strong-Tie Soft-Story Retrofit Solutions Campaign has won the top award for Best Content Marketing Campaign in Hanley Wood’s 2015 Brand Builder Awards. The Brand Builder Awards recognize the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns throughout the residential and commercial design and construction industries.
The Soft-Story Retrofit Solutions Campaign coincided with legislation passed by the city of San Francisco requiring certain residential soft-story buildings to undergo retrofitting to meet national FEMA building standards. The campaign educates stakeholders about the ordinance and how Simpson Strong-Tie products, including the Strong Frame special moment frame, can serve as comprehensive system solutions to meet the requirements of the ordinance and make soft-story buildings safer for years to come.
The campaign included several content marketing assets, including a customized landing page, the High-Quality Soft-Story Retrofit Solutions flier, in-person and online training, the Weak Story Software Tool, online banner ads and an advertorial.
“We’re proud to receive the Platinum Award for Best Content Marketing Campaign,” says Simpson Strong-Tie Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Kristin Lincoln. “Our goal for the Soft-Story Retrofit Solutions Campaign is to educate building owners and other stakeholders about the new legislation and how our products provide solutions. Winning this award inspires our commitment to serve other areas considering similar legislation.”
The award was presented in Chicago at the Hanley Wood Foundations Conference.
