Three-foot 14-watt Drop Light Is Equipped with 50-foot Cord

Larson Electronics has revealed a new design for its 3-foot 14-watt LED drop light equipped with a 50-foot cord terminated in an optional cord cap.

The FTL-3-LED-50 from Larson Electronics is a 14-watt LED task light that offers cooler operating temperatures and longer lamp life than traditional incandescent or fluorescent drop lights. Constructed to be completely weatherproof and impact resistant, this LED drop light sacrifices no light output or quality to obtain these features. The drop light is shock resistant making it durable enough to withstand drops, falls and rough handling. Equipped with a 50,000-hour LED T8 lamp, this LED drop light is designed to operate at cooler temperatures than conventional incandescent and fluorescent lights to reduce the chance of fire and burns. The FTL-3-LED-50 is equipped with a LEDT8-24-V1 T8 bulb from Larson Electronics, which produces 1,375 lumens of light and requires no ballast to operate. The lightly frosted lens diffuses the light and makes this bulb ideal for food safe environments as there is no glass. The aluminum housing serves as a heat sink and provides rigidity and strength for the LED bulb.

This multi-voltage LED task light runs directly off any voltage ranging from 110 volts to 277 volts and is equipped with 50 feet of cable, making this light versatile and provides the operator with plenty of length for moving the light around the workspace. Larson Electronics now offers a selection of plugs to accommodate many outlets. This unit can be customized with a 5-15 straight blade plug, a L5-15 twist lock plug, a L6-15 twist lock plug, a UK BS1363 straight blade plug, an international 2-pin schuko plug, or it can be terminated with flying leads for wiring direct to a power source. This drop light comes standard with a set of removable drop hooks that allow the operator to conveniently hang the unit overhead anywhere illumination is needed. This unit is also equipped with a machined handle at the base of the light that allows the unit to be used as a handheld light fixture for spot illumination when needed.
