CRL-U.S. Aluminum has launched its Mojave Series Advanced Thermal Storefront and Entrance. Mojave is engineered for compliance with California Title 24, using the prescriptive and performance calculation approach. C.R. Laurence-U.S. Aluminum can provide the project-specific performance data required for Title 24 calculations. The NFRC-rated Mojave Series utilizes polyamide struts and advanced internal insulation (AT model) to produce an energy-efficient door that is 1 3/4-inches thick. This door thickness allows the system to be compatible with a wide range of architectural hardware, including locking and mounting devices, which makes it a cost-effective solution for retrofit projects where existing storefront and entrance systems require a performance upgrade. The system can be customized with stainless steel or brass cladding to provide attractive visuals. It can also be paired with CRL-Blumcraft Tubular Panic Devices for enhanced safety, security and aesthetics. Mojave Series 2- by 4 1/2-inch glazed walls accommodate 1-inch insulating glass units. Available mounting options for entrance doors include center hung, offset pivot and butt hinge. You can select from narrow (3 inch), medium (4 1/2 inch), and wide (5 1/2 inch) stile widths. Mojave Series comes in a standard thermally broken model, or a thermally broken model with advanced internal insulating foam (AT model).
The Mojave Series Advanced Thermal Storefront and Entrance will take center stage in the C.R. Laurence-U.S. Aluminum booth #1945 at the 2018 AIA Conference on Architecture, June 21-22.
