Lumber dealers and building supply companies across northern Illinois, northwest Indiana and southeast Wisconsin now have easy access to a national brand of cellular PVC architectural trim, thanks to a new distribution agreement between VERSATEX Trimboard and Parksite Inc.
Starting in November, Parksite will distribute the full line of VERSATEX Trimboard products, such as trimboards, sheet, bead board, and mouldings, and all proprietary specialty items, such as the innovative VERSATEX soffit system. Parksite’s Illinois distribution center in Bolingbrook will facilitate regional distribution.
Headquartered in Batavia, Ill., Parksite is an employee-owned company that provides direct sales, market development and distribution services throughout the building materials supply chain across the eastern half of the United States.
“All of us at Parksite, and particularly our Bolingbrook location, are very excited to represent VERSATEX in our territories serviced out of our Illinois facility. VERSATEX is a well-known and trusted brand by contractors and dealers alike and they are committed to growing their share through aggressive programs and consistent supply. Their quality offering makes it a logical choice for Parksite and our customers”, states George Pattee, chairman and CEO of Parksite.
“This is a landmark event for dealers in this part of the country, and for VERSATEX as well,” adds Rick Kapres, VERSATEX’s vice president of sales. “With its drive to cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships, the Parksite culture is a close match for our own. Both companies are deeply committed to quality products, personal service and education for everyone we can reach, all across the industry.”
VERSATEX cellular PVC products are manufactured at the facilities of Wolfpac Technologies near Pittsburgh.
