The additional blade lengths provide architects and designers with the flexibility to achieve custom-looking ceiling designs.
The vertical panels will measure 24- and 48-inches in length and offer a linear look along with acoustical performance. They will join an existing family of MetalWorks Blades — Classics panels that measure 96-inches in length.
The new blade lengths will provide architects and designers with the flexibility to achieve custom-looking ceiling designs with standard items, including striated, geometric, herringbone, cellular, linear, and other visuals. Non-parallel divergent linear looks can be created as well.
Acoustical and Non-Acoustical Options
All MetalWorks Blades — Classics are available as perforated or unperforated panels. MetalWorks Blades with a standard perforation pattern provide 0.3 sabins of sound absorption per linear foot. The blades provide more sound absorption than a continuous ceiling of the same surface area because sound is absorbed on both sides.
MetalWorks Blades panels are available in nine colors including White, Silver Grey and Gun Metal Grey. Six Effects Wood Looks finishes are available, including Maple; Cherry; Dark Cherry; Walnut; Walnut Espresso and Oak. Custom RAL colors are also available.
Made from aluminum, the blades are installed on a 15/16-inch Armstrong Prelude suspension system, are seismic tested, and have a Class A fire rating.
